Ember is a local social platform that helps you discover events, join community channels, meet like-minded people, and build real friendships — all within your city. Think of it as your city's social hub.
Download Ember from the Google Play Store, open the app, and sign up with your email address. You'll go through a quick onboarding to select your city, set up your profile, and choose your interests. It takes less than a minute!
Yes! Ember is completely free to use. All core features — events, channels, people discovery, messaging, and gaming lobbies — are available at no cost.
Ember is currently available in select cities across India. We're expanding rapidly! If your city isn't supported yet, you can still sign up and we'll notify you when we launch there. Check the app for the most up-to-date list.
Browse events on the Discover tab to find activities near you. Tap any event to see details and join. To create your own event, tap the "+" button, choose an interest category, set the time/place/details, and publish. Other users nearby will be able to discover and join your event.
You can report a user from their profile page by tapping the "..." menu and selecting "Report". For posts or messages, long-press the content and choose "Report". Our safety team reviews all reports within 24 hours. You can also email us directly at [email protected].
You can delete your account from within the app by going to Settings → Delete Account. For detailed instructions, visit our Account Deletion page. You can also request manual deletion by emailing [email protected].
Ember is currently available on Android via the Google Play Store. iOS support is coming soon! Sign up for updates on our landing page to be notified when the iOS version launches.
